B-25 s/n 44-29507 “Sarinah”, well known as the Duke of Brabant Air Force’s Mitchell in the Netherlands, has made her first flight on the Dutch register. Now registered as PH-XXV, the veteran bomber flew on Friday May 10th for the first time since 2009…being the only not US registered airworthy B-25. The Mitchell is now operated by the KLu Historische Vlucht (Royal Netherlands AF Hist Flight) at Gilze-Rijen AFB in the Netherlands after the merger of the DBAF Foundation with the organisation.

It was effectively destroyed AFAIK
Badly damaged, yes (mostly aft fuselage, belly and starboard nacelle), but certainly not destroyed. It is in storage awaiting things to come. B25s have been rebuilt from far less than this one.
