B-25 44-30089 N86411 Crash in Algeria 1962

In going through some old files I came across this airplane that supposedly crashed at Maison Blanche, Algeria, on March 9, 1962. Does anyone have any details about a TB-25L registered to a Seattle, Washington, owner that was flying in North Africa in 1962?

Could possibly help you… :
“30089 is reported to be the original identity of N86411 which crashed at Maison Blanche, Algeria Mar 9, 1962, killing all four occupants. The c/n quoted (108-34414) does not match up, however.”

Yep, I have all that, and the registration has been revoked by the FAA so it isn’t current. I was hoping for some details of the crash and/or why it was operating in North Africa in 1962.

Last registered to the Lloyd E. Beck Masonry Company and all four on board were killed in the crash.

The plane’s details are still recorded with the FAA, so does this mean it is still cutrrent?

Possibly there’s some connection with the war in Algeria? Incidentally, Maison Blanche is just outside Algiers, and was the site for a French Aéronavale air base.
