B-26 Flak Bait reassembly at NASM Udvar-Hazy

Yesterday, during my first visit to the NASM Udvar-Hazy Center, I noticed that the components of B-26 Marauder “Flak Bait” have been gathered in the restoration hall. According to a very helpful and friendly docent, the aircraft is being conserved and reassemble for display as a complete aircraft. The plans are to conserve the original WWII finish.
