B-26 Marauder colour film

I know some incredible colour footage of B-26 European operations have been available on YouTube for a while but some more has been found and posted, it is well worth spending 6:38 of your life watching it, or longer if you watch it over and over again like I have.

Anyone know which bomb groups and airfields are represented?

Adrian

RJ codes are for the 454th Sqn. & WT are the 456th, both of the 323rd bombardment group based at Earls Colne & Beaulieu, then France. The white bar on the upper part of the tails on all the aircraft is the 323rd’s id, ‘the White tails’

Some amazing footage there, thanks for posting. I wonder if the B-26 with the smoky starboard engine made it back? I was surprised at the tight formation they were keeping. I would have thought that gave the flak gunners a bigger target.
