Looking for history/photos of my new rocket – 44-35898. [N3328G]. Was Race 76 at Reno in 1968. I am trying to take her back to Reno this year [not to race] to visit her old stomping grounds before we fly her to OZ…

I spotted some original A26 manuals in my garage the other day, I’ll have to actually look closer to find out which ones.
Gonna bring it to Van Nuys to play with the Keck Invaders?

Denny Lynch in Montana has the only civilian K in the world. It has been for sale for some years, but have so far not been sold. It is in three tone camo with all the “goodies” underneath the wings!
As for a color scheme for Oscar Duck, what about one of the Biafran AF A-26s? Very colorful, not likely to be replicated often, and a symbol of a proud people fighting against formidable odds! With Austalia’s closeness to and history with, Vietnam might be a good alternative! Possibly in a French scheme?

Cheers TJ – not seen that before!
All the best

Nice! How about trying a -26K scheme in three tone camo – look good with the mohawks and Spads on the circuit – in fact I cant recall seeing a restored A-26 in that scheme…could even get your local ANG to paint her for you!

CIA machines as operated over the Congo, at worldatwar.net/chandelle/ v2/v2n3/congo.html
Or one of the brighter Korea machines: the 7th Chadwick!

My first choice is to see if she wore an interesting scheme. Second is either WW2 or Korea [silver] and who knows “Farm Gate”..

A -B model in the green 3rd Bomb Group (Phillipnies 1945) livery. That would be rather unique for the Invader w/b community.
Of course, many South American countries that operated Invaders carried some nice paint schemes aswel…

You are clearly too busy with the TBF and A26 to need an unrestored Spitfire XIV.
So if you could ship it to my address in Minnesota, I’ll be happy to take good care of it for you 🙂
Guess I’ll have to take a crack at an A26 profile or two with some paint schemes when I get back from the Legends trip 🙂

That would be great if you could make it out to Reno! Your bird is mentioned quite often on the air racing boards. Any pics of what she looks like now?
