I’ve been visiting the crash site of 44-61999 since i was six years old. I’m 44 now and still just as interested in this aircraft. I have collected a lot of info and photos on this crash over the years, but i have noticed some photos that i’ve never seen beofre, taken around the time of the crash in the Glossop Chronicle recently.
Can anyone help me in find where these photos come from or does anyone have any old crash photos of this aircraft? Anything between the crash in 1948 up to the early 70’s would be of great. I would rather leave asking the newspaper publishers for help as a last resort.
The latest newspaper photos are of great interest to me and i can only imagine that the original photos will be much better quality.
