B-52s on alert, were they de-iced?

Brrr, this cold weather and snow here got me thinking. Were the B-52s, FB-111s and B-58’s that were on ground alert during the Cold War ever de-iced before takeoff?

I know that armed B-52s and FB-111’s were not suppose to take off unless of a national emergency, but didn’t SAC have practice alerts where the planes were about to start their take off rolls before being called back (aka Movie Gathering Eagles). Wouldn’t they have to be de-iced?

Some of those bases like Minot got a lot of snow back then….
