B17 eighth air force markings

The benchmark book the classic “Mighty Eighth” by Roger Freeman. Mine is well thumbed since 1976. Excellent colour side plates at the end of the book.

apparently there is a new book out at

this covers the aircraft operated by the 8th AAF by bomber/fighter group
