Now here is something weird…
How do you attempt to improve the B-24’s abysmal working conditions of the nose ?
Simple….graft a B-17 nose onto it !!
Apparently it was far worse than both the B-17 and B-24 so the project was quietly shelved… :rolleyes:
ohh and by the way this is not photoshopped ( I don’t think….??!!)

Very weird, but isn’t the fuselage section of the B-17 totaly different compared to the B-24??
