I was hoping that one of you internet sleuths could help me find a photo of B52G 59-2590 ‘Better Duck’. She was a Gulf War vet and was scrapped shortly afterwards.
Thanks Paul

Thanks mushbuster, that’s a very good article, I can add another photo to my list now. It appears that Col Schulz was the pilot who flew the B52 ‘Ghost Rider’ out of the boneyard recently as well.
Cheers Paul

The BBC News website in the magazine section, dated 10.12.12 has a very good article with photos about the B52. “B52, America’s Iconic War Machine” even has a picture of “Better Duck” with Keith Schultz standing next to it.

Paul, stumbled across your post and thought you may be interested in this BBC article, scroll down to the later photos including one of your jet. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-33766644
The pilot is Col Keith Schulz who is the current 2BW Vice Commander at Barksdale

Maybe he could tell you some stories to go with your component

Hi D McGee
I thank you for taking the effort to scan your photo, join the forum and post it up for me. The reason I wanted the photo is that I have a small part from the aircraft and wanted a pic to go with it, you’ve given me exactly what I was after.
Regards Paul

Circa 1992, with (most of) the crew. I’m the short guy in blue. Sadly, as a G-model, it went to the guillotine mere months after I saw it, per START I.
Edit: Actually all of the crew, who look like they’re from a movie. From left, the fat guy, the old guy, the Ron Livingston guy, the sassy black guy, the hot guy, and the pilot is a woman who is tired of this crap.
Edit again: sorry to reply to a 3-year-old thread, but I have the pic he asked for and finally bothered to scan it and sign up.
