Just me being stupid – for God knows what reason, I was searching for 10th July departures but it is listed as being a 777.
Only one available Manchester to Gatwick flight tomorrow and that is 2913, to be operated by the regular 737.

just looked on Ba.com and it is there and bookable. Didn’t check the return flight though. The only times i have known Ba to use a 777 is when the previous flight has been cancelled but this doesn’t appear to be the case.

Forgive me for sounding so stupid, but why can you not book this flight? The last bookable flight on this date is at 3.45pm from Gatwick.
However, the return flight (#2911) is, according to the British Airways website, going to be a 737?
