BA 777 from Boston

Heads up to everyone at NCL. I am currently tracking a BA 777 heading towards NCL from Boston. It is currently heading North East over Skipton.

I might be wrong but seemsa strange direction to be traveling when arrival point is LHR.

There must be something up with LHR.

Indeed there has been. The runways are very icy, and just as soon as BAA have cleared the runway of ice, it begins to re-freeze just as quickly. Also, visibility has been a big issue today.

Due to the closure of LGW, I suspect that some aircraft were made to land at LHR instead; I saw a Monarch A320 parked up on a remote stand by T4 early this afternoon whilst on the staff bus to the car park! With that in mind, anything that was scheduled to arrive into LHR will have been diverted elsewhere.

It doesn’t appear if everything is diverting as there is nothing else heading up North at the minute. Strange though that the BA 777 is still holding over NCL.

Thought that was Continental? Also a BA from Madrid heading North over the Lake District. Could be a busy night now for all airports in the North.
