Best looking livery on the A380 so far IMO…

I have never been a big fan of the new BA color scheme but I have to admit that it looks pretty nice on the big bird

Touche –
Touche – I haven’t had time to see all other customers’ 787 liveries.
United looks like they plan to have the cowlings painted and Qantas have the same (smaller) tail logo planned for the cowlings.

It will if they paint the cowlings blue. 🙂

The BA Livery looks good on both A380 and the Dreamliner

I’ve seen this aircraft develop over the last few months. I saw it every week when in Toulouse and then at Finkenwerder when flying into Hamburg. I agree it does look particularly nice in the BA livery, even when it was all green but with the BA tail it looked good.

Only stuff through the grape vine at the moment 🙁 but I hear MAD is a strong contender and perhaps AMS.

Indeed I have to admit that it does look really nice.
BA will use the aircraft on short-haul routes for training before putting it into service on the Los Angeles and Hong Kong routes in October-November.
Have any details been announced yet as to what short-haul routes the aircraft will be flown on?

It does? Even recent BA aircraft look tired in my view, because they never seem to be clean.

It looks fantastic, but not as pretty as the Queen of the Skies.
When the off-white colour BA uses gets dirty, it won’t be as nice.
The blue is the same as they have always used, just the lights causing it to look more saturated.
But this is BA we are talking about, not Air France.
BA at least wash the planes from time to time.

It’s lovely but not as nice as Thai in my opinion. BA always show up well in photos though.

Looks very nice indeed! I was wondering what ‘tweaks’ might be made for the 380, I’m glad that the company crest made it on there, I was really hoping that it would.

It’s going to take a REALY thick coat of paint to make the 380 look pretty!

I knew it would look great when they ordered it, back in 2007 and she certainly hasn’t disappointed 🙂
But does anyone know why they’ve gone for a lighter shade of blue on the bottom of the fuselage? It looks tacky, or is it just the light?

Agree, I think the livery looks great! 😀
