Ba Baggage Allowance

hi hope this is the right place to put this, i am travling with BA and just wondered if someone could tell me if i can use this for hand baggage?

•Your main piece of hand baggage is up to the dimensions 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22in x 18in x 10in), including the handle, pockets and wheels.
•Your bag must fit into the bag gauge, available at the check-in area.

Your bag from Argos measures Size (H)51, (W)34, (D)20cm so it seems okay (smaller than BA sizes)

i have just checked ryanair, and there allowance is smaller than BA’s, so i think it should be fine, the reason why i dont want to put it in the hold is that it will have my laptop init with camera and other stuff.

If you can fit it into the little gauge at the airport, the dimensions will be ok, but if you pack it with heavy things, you might not be able to lift it into the overhead locker.
On balance, I’d put it in the hold.

You should be able to find out on the BA website the maximum dimensions for your hand luggage. The dimesnions for your suitcase are given on the link you have posted.

Provided it is under said dimensions, and once packed is under the weight limits. There is no other reason why you can’t take that as hand luggage.
In fact, one of the reviews mentions the customer had bought it to take as hand luggage on Ryanair. I think you should be safe with BA. 😉

Looks a Tad big to me!

In the airport i work in for BA if it fits in the Gauge it can go as hand Bagguge and you have to be able to lift it unassited into the over head locker! Cant speak for other BA stations though!
