“British Airways (BA) check-in staff have voted in favour of strike action, according to the website Thisislondon.co.uk.
Approximately 3,000 check-in staff who are members of the GMB union will take industrial action over pay, the site reports.
The T&G union, which represents 8,000 BA ground staff, will announce the results of its own strike ballot next week.”

High time these BA people learned that this is a very poor time for anyone in our industry to stage a strike. I don’t think that anyone in BA is poorly paid, and if anyone thinks that they are then they are as free as the rest of us in aviation to MOVE ON! The management should stand their ground on this one and best the GMB/TGWU wises up before they end up escorting their BA membership out of jobs, Think about it people, thank your lucky stars, you could be working for the likes of Ryanair, Geeez!
