BA Config question?

I have just been looking through my families documentation for our return portion of our holiday to Canada. On our return flight from Seattle to London Heathrow, we are travelling with British Airways on a 747, and have been upgraded to WTP, yet our allocated seats are 20 G,J,K and 21 J,K.

However, I have just cross-checked that these seat numbers are within the WTP cabin, and they are not, :(. Have BA changed their config on their 747’s, but failed to update the website, or am I looking at the wrong thing.

Either way I am terribly , and would appreciate anyones help to resolve this problem. I have attached a config map of a 747, as per BA’s website if you need to look at it.

BA have quite a few different seat configs on their long haul fleet, some of which dont make the seat plan websites. On G-ZZZB the other day, according to every seat plan we were in WT+, but when on board it just turned out to be a non standard config.

According to Seatguru, they have 2 configs on the 744. One with 38 business class seats and one with 70 business class seats. On the 38J config, rows 20 and 21 are indeed in the WTP cabin. Hope this helps.

Ah, just checked this site out, and have found the correct diagram…and can confirm we are defo in WTP. Thanks.

OneLeft, I have PM’d you, but thanks to the site I have found the right config. Would be good if you could just confirm 110% though.

And just as a side, I have also found out that on my outbound flight (LHR-YYC) on Air Canada, I am flying on an A330-300, not a 767, which was a suprise to me,. I am travelling in Economy, what can I expect?

Those diagrams are only representative of configs as they vary. Give me your flight numbers and dates (PM if you prefer) and I’ll see what I can find out.
