Hello
I have a short question regarding an aircraft of British Airways’ fleet. In a couple of weeks I ll fly to BWI over LHR. The used aircraft, according to the flight plan, will be a B767. Does the B767 of BA have any inflight entertainment system? I can assume as the B767 is a relatively old aircraft that this will be not the case. Has anyone any XP on flying with a B767?
Kind regards
Benjamin

So the flight to BWI is booked and confirmed. I am really looking forward being on board of the B767 which has been recently refitted with a new cabin interior.

WH is back flying so if not at MAN must be at LHR.
I think I heard at work that there wasn’t going to be a specific MAN based 767 but that they would rotate through MAN instead. I have done a couple of MAN flights on longhaul 767s with an aircraft change up there so that would seem to be the case.

Correct, BNWH has been flying longhaul LHR routes. She flew in from Accra this morning, and coincidentally went out to Baltimore this afternoon!

Yes BWI flights on those dates are currently planned to be operated by 767 aircraft.

You don’t say what date you are going, but you seem sure that you will be on a 767. Most days BWI is on 777 aircraft, but either way it will have the most up to date version of the 3 class Club/Traveller Plus/Traveller cabin. This includes PTV’s in Traveller.
If you go to ba.com here http://www.britishairways.com/travel/entertainhighlights/public/en_gb?prim=aboutjourn&sec=onboard fill in the route details and it will show you what to expect.
Enjoy your flight.

The outbound flight will be 4th Sep., inbound 15th Sep. I haven’t booked yet. There might well be a slight change in the dates.

As far as I’m aware, all of BA’s long haul 767’s have been upgraded so that they all have PTVs and World Traveller Plus.

Havent all the mainline longhaul 763’s just been refurbished inline with the rest of the longhaul fleet- so they should feel pretty refreshed and comfortable.

I’m not sure how long haul 767s differ from those used for short haul but I did travel on one in November 2004 from Budapest to London Heathrow – G-BZHC. The seating configuration was 2-3-2 in economy and there were televisions suspended from the ceilings.
