sorry to drift also…
Dunsfold.. Its expected that the housing dev is going to start approx 2009 all to plan.. Top Gear are moving out of there shorlty..
In regards to the 747… i may be wrong.. but i recall the 747 been an ex BA and the Air Atlanta Europe logo was only printed on one side due to some promo.. The 747 is apparently owned by Dunsfold estate now. 18 months ago the plane did not have any logo on either side..

I thought it had a museum logo now?

just going a little off topic… sorry..
but… the 747 at Dunsfold..
Sadly now a relic of the past, this former BA 747-236B resides at Dunsfold Park for use as a film prop/set.
One thing to add… its going to be intresting shortly as Dunsfold Park has now been sold and the site is to be covered by a housing devlopment..
Im going to miss Dunsfold Park and its airshow:( I thought it was an ex Air Atlanta Europe  Seems stupid to take SRB out as its not the full film have they taken out the VS and CSA?

Dunsfold.
Who thinks Virgin would have done the same had it been BA included?
Delta edited a film so that every time the word ‘God’ was said, it was beeped out.
Welcome to the modern world:rolleyes:

Prague Airport wasn’t it?
They filmed it in prague southend and where ever the Top Gear 747 is based.

Prague Airport wasn’t it?
Shot at Prague. In the film it’s meant to be Miami airport.

This is just sad!! He is in it for barely 3 seconds. Lighten up BA.

and if you read a similar thread on airliners.net, you’ll discover that “ordinary” members of the public have got DVDs without Sir Woolly Pully in it. Perhaps BA have doctored those DVDs as well:rolleyes:
Rented it from local store and absolutely no Virgin references logos or jets etc in it. Was surprised as i had paid specific attention to see them.
I thought they shot scenes onboard as well as were all deleted out on my one.

The BBC are very slow on this one, or they’ve been keeping the story for a ‘no news’ day. This was in the papers 3 to 4 weeks ago.

I’m guessing we felt like giving SRB some positive spin ? :p
