BA dis-Connect-ing Passengers

What happened to the BA Connect Dash 8 300 fleet yesterday? GLA and EDI to MAN served by a very nice Titan Airlines BAE146. Other flights just cancelled on some routes. Comment from BA was thet they had multiple Dash 8 tech problems and that they would take more than a day to fix.
Anyone know what the problems were?

No they are fully repainting all a/c!! The RJ100 just repainted, was given a full once over, and is now clean.

Probably all having the new BACON livery painted on!

You mean having a new sticker applied… 😀

Is this due to the RJ100 fleet going to Swiss-meaning lack of replacement aircraft?

potentially, but i don’t think they’ve all gone yet so there should be some cover

Don’t know the problem but can almost honestly say that it’s absolutely no different to any day in the previous 18 months then! The only unusual thing is that it’s a Titan 146 and not a Flightline 146 as they seem to have at least 1 (if not 2) now seemingly based, ready to take up BA’s flights for which they (BA) have no spare aircraft.
