BA dropping 4 LGW routes – NCL one of them, starting 3!

http://www.travelmole.com/stories/1114136.php?mpnlog=1

So it seems that the 737’s used on the dropped routes will fly to Eastern Germany and Bosnia!

Also interesting to see Trinidad up and running for next year.

The 10 new A320 family aircraft are destined for LHR to replace the very early A320’s.

That’s if what I have read is correct.

Interesting to see BA just slightly starting to reduce their shorthaul LGW ops – hopefully they’ll pull all the short haul stuff from there soon or get some new planes:).

10 new A/C of the A320 family coming in the next 2 years i think, even rumours of BA looking at the A330.

TBH Im surprised DUB survived. The one time I flew that route the loads were dismal and any other time Ive seen that flight boarding or passengers getting off laods were far from great.

How can dropping NCL-LGW be a mistake? BA have been operating the route long enough to know if they can make money on it. Loads may have been good but yeild is whats important.
I can see LS picking this route up and having a good go at BA in the process.

Just my NCl pride getting in the way.

NCL im sorry but getting rid of that route is just a mistake!!

Hopefully jet2.com or easyjet will take over. Rumour has it Easyjet are going to operate it with a Gatwick based A319.
