BA NCL Question.

Does any one know why BA hasn’t been using stand 3 today?? it seemed to me that an aircraft was parked across 2 stands this morning, infact I am sure I saw an EZY aircraft go onto stand 3 reverse out then move to stand 2!

cheers.

Funnily enough its SXF with easyjet they used desks 1-4 to film it they are there today and tomorrow. SXF is no longer served by ezy at ncl but they even had it on the departure board flight ezy6487 to berlin schonfeld departing 14.00 check-in 1-4…..surprised no one was asking how they couldnt book it!

Its a British film being made, I was told its about a group of men going to berlin for the world cup and but before they go they rob a bank and have to get to ncl in time to catch the flight to the world cup! think iv spoilt it seeing as they have been filming all day at the airport! lol its starring paul nicholls and val blackwood think he’s off lock stock….probably be out in 2009 are something! they caused some disruption in the airport by having all the film equip and crew blocking the exit to domestic arrivals.

Oh right Sounds cr*p wonder what the airline is they try to get on.

I think ncl is still a local airport, yes you get alot of pax travel from yorkshire and scotland but the place is small, confusing and un organised the amount of people who dont have a clue where to go when they have checked in and the fact that places arnt sign posted. Another thing iv noticed is the fact that jet2 has taken desks 12-15 for check-in but sn brussels and ryanair have to use these too just makes the old part of terminal chaos, wouldnt it be easier to but some flights in new terminal as thats like a ghost town in the winter

Its like the winter at ncl biggest a/c is a 757 i think! nothing much to look out for except for the odd foreign football team charter or maybe a leased aircraft by ezy or af when theres are tech, Need more variation but dont know if there is the demand? wonder when they are extending the runway if thats still going ahead, and if there ever going to improve or extend the currenct terminal…suppose these questions can never be answered lol

i heard that there sticking an extra 100 metres on the end down runway 25 way. well to be honest theres nothing much bigger than an A330 we can handle. 747 can be taken just takes up alllot of room. I hear that the loudes charter 747 that was in this year had a stupidly long turnaround.

Sounds like a fun corse that,is it any good? Could be true probably just a non starter as usual though! you get sick of the same a/c at ncl would be nice to see something different.

aye its good gives you a great insight into the industry plus we have ex NCL staff as tutors.

Ah NCL non starters seen plenty of them, AA was the biggest pile of BS!!

NCL is boring when it comes to A/C thats why i nearly twisted my neck when i saw the A340 last week.

Having said that sundays EI flight was 5 overbooked! It just dpends I think, Bit like EZY loads for eg, tonights ezy557 to belfast has 67 on where as most days that will be overbooked, I would think EI will offer alot better service than FR. Im doing NCL-CDG with ezy on 27th should be fun!
