Correct, BEA Airtours 1969 – 1974, British Airtours 1974 – 1988. Commonly known though just as Airtours.
Indeed and certainly not to be confused with what was the precursor of ‘My Travel’…

Wasn’t it ‘BEA Airtours’ whilst the Comet’s were employed

Yep! Cheers. They didn’t become the actual “Airtours” (From Rochdale/ Bolton?) did they?
Wasn’t it ‘BEA Airtours’ whilst the Comet’s were employed ? Surely they had all been retired by the time BEA became BA and Britsh Airtours came into being…?

I’m struggling to remember the BEA sideline co. that operated as a holiday firm in the 70’s. Using Comets

Looks like OpenSkies is using it now then 😛 Unless someone is messing about on Wikipedia.
We’ll have to see – Mistral Air were still using it as of Wednesday, as we were using it!

Mistral is the ATC callsign for Mistral Air ( http://www.mistralair.it/ ). Btw if you click in the video link you’ll see quite a good vid of a QC in action.
