I have been told that BA recently had a fire in one of it’s jet aircraft. Can any you spread some light to this please?

RE: BA plane fire
Unfortunately, the refueller has since died from his injuries but all pax and creww were evacuated from a/c. Investigations are looking into refuelling nozzle failure and also the (in)experience of the refueller. The a/c is expected to remain in Denver while the a/c is surveyed by the FAA/CAA. Initial indications are severe scorching of paintwork to L eng+wing as you would expect.

RE: BA plane fire
Does anyone have any info on the Jetstream J32 engine fire at East Midlands as i would be very interested to find out about this. The airline must be Eastern Airways as they are the only airline who operate the ABZ-EMA route.
Also I can confirm that the BA 777 was actually G-VIIK.

RE: BA plane fire
There was another aircraft fire i just heard on the news.A flight from aberdeen to East midlands was evacuated while boarding was taking place due to an engine fire on the jetstream 31.Think the airline was eastern airways as this is the only airline that operates this route.

RE: BA plane fire
The aircraft was at Denver and the fire broke out during re-fuelling while passengers were getting off of the plane. An airport worker was badly burnt, don’t think anyone else was injured.
The plane looked like a 777 from TV pictures.
