I have just heard that British Airways has announced it’s intention to sell Go, their low cost carrier. Rumour has it that a management buy out is planned.
Considering that Go was formed in 1998, does anyone think that BA has made this sudden U-turn because A.) The competition from other low cost carriers is too intense, or B.) BA have problems of their own and need the income generated from the sale, despite announcing a better than expected profit.
Finally, has anyone flown with this airline? If so, what are they like?
