British Airways will not be a customer for either the 7E7 or the A380 in the near term, CEO Rod Eddington appeared to state yesterday.
Speaking to an analysts’ conference, Eddington said he wants to reduce the airline’s debt load from £4.5 billion ($8.3 billion) to £3 billion before taking on any new borrowings to support aircraft purchases, according to Dow Jones.
“We’ve got plenty of time to look at what’s happening on the airplane front,” Eddington said, the news service reported.
