Does anyone know if the shareholders of BAA have accepted the offer by Ferrovial? I read in the papers at the weekend an advert from BAA informing shareholders that the deadline to accept the offer was Monday 19th June. Thats been and gone and theres been no word from BAA.

Share holders have until 1.00pm on the 26th to return paper work, detailing their intentions.

I think the shareholders will vote with an overwhelming YES… But theoretically the deal could still be scuppered by the CAA or Dept of Trade and Industry or Monopolies and mergers commission
