It seems the first of the eight ‘babies’ stored here for six months may be about to become saucepans ??
This ‘shot’ from today sees what we think may be G-OBMP ‘Robin Hood Baby’ with power plants removed and all identity blanked out !!
Beginning of the end ? or just been a naughty girl ?

I agree, Newforest, Joe Public would never guess !
No the paint job on that airframe is not up to Air Livery’s high standards ! no disregard to those who did apply it ???

WE know the identity of the victims, but the general public may not realize if they ever get to see the photos, so image is everything. 😉
Guess your local painting companies were not invited to contract the work. 😀

Sad Face Rob ! I wonder why the attempt to hide the identity of this aircraft when it’s standing in front of a line of seven others all with various versions of the BMIbaby livery ??

🙁 Robin Hood Baby was my favourite bmibaby B737. Sad to see that she’s going to be scrapped. 🙁
A few years ago a few mates wanted me to go to Nottingham and then fly up to Glasgow for a days spotting with them. I didn’t have enough money to go sadly and when they got to Glasgow they phoned me and said ‘Guess what bmibaby we got?’ and I said ‘No, not Robin Hood Baby, surely?’ and they said ‘Yes!’ and had great pleasure showing me the pics when they got back! 😀

I’ve still got my ‘Tiny’ cuddly mascot from my only baby flight. A real shame they’ve gone 🙁

Thanks Tony ! I never think to look in G-INFO ! …… So it looks terminal ?
I always think of all the smiling happy family faces leaping aboard this aircraft going on their holidays ….. and then look at the rather sad airframe awaiting it’s fate !!

Always an ominous sign when the engines go. Do the do break ups at NWI however ?
