Hello im back from a trip to Oslo 🙂 Good to be back home, but really cold when used to the Manchester weather.
One question.. When we flew from MAN to OSL, the pilot said we would fly down along the coast, and fly along the coast of Belgium, up to Denmark, and then i assume across the Skagerrak.
When we flew back we flew straight across the North sea. Is this normal? I dont think there was any bad weather in the north sea at the time, is that perhaps just the way flight corridors are from Britain to Norway?
Here is the excact aircraft i was in on the outbound flight, quite a special tail!

RE: Back!
And the big question – did your team win??

RE: Back!
Large areas of the North Sea have recently been assigned as training areas for crew testing/converting onto the Eurofighter. The airspace is not enforced all the time so it depends what times your flights were as to how it would have affected you. It is playing havoc with routings for our Newcastle and Glasgow based crews operating to Cyprus, Israel and Egypt.
