Often wondered why some databases reject back-lit shots,
surely it’s the subject matter and not the ‘petty’ elitism
that seems to possess some screeners that matter.?
I say resist the elitism and use databases that appreciate
the subject rather than the petty aesthetic.

Let’s face it, it is his/her website and his/her webspace and bandwidth you are using.
I don’t have a problem with that…I do have a problem with some of the ‘judges’… A quick check through
screeners contributions on various databases would suggest they don’t practice what they preach..  IMHO

Well, backlit photos often tend the be too dark to be really good photos. Most websites will make an exception for rare planes, but a LH ARJ is by no means rare. Personally I quite like the photo, in particular the contrails add to the photo. However, it is up to the webmaster to decide if it qualifies or not. Let’s face it, it is his/her website and his/her webspace and bandwidth you are using.
