Bader's Last Fight

I have just finished reading Andy Saunder’s recently published book, Baders Last Fight, which gives a detailed and deeply researched account of Douglas Bader’s last tangle with the Luftwaffe over France before becoming a POW.

The book will undoubtably create controvosy and argument amongst some readers, but the researched history from British and German sources make the written facts of combat and daily returns, difficult to question.
For me, it makes excellent reading and together with many, never seen before, photographs the book is a credit to the author.
