BAe Hawk trainers for Norway – 1980's

Hello people,

Some years ago (1985-1989 period) it was reported in several reliable (!) aiviation magazines, I belief Air International and perhaps Flight International, that the Royal Norwegian Air Force was seriously considered a small number of Hawk trainers! I would like to know if any of you guys can re-call that report and has more information…

In the 1990’s also once reported that a small number of AS.355 helicopters were sought for army support… but nothing know what was true about that report.
