BAe + McDonnel Douglas's JSF entry

I’d like more info and opinions on this aircraft. What made it worse than Boeing’s and Lockheed’s entries?

The wing design is particularly interesting. Isn’t this type called a lambda wing? What are its advantages/disadvantages to a delta or trapezoidal wing?

How would its maneuverability compare to the F-35? Without a vertical tail, maybe it could some impressive sideslips?

Any other info you have would be helpful…
