Ok folks… the photos you’ve all be waiting for.
The collection of photos I shot with a friends Olympus Camera. Very heavy thing that has a retail price tag of around £1000 on it.
Here we go, in order:
1) Continental 737ng sitting at gate C87 (I think) in EWR. Just beside my West Palm beach bound 757 at C86
2) My 757 to West Palm Pulling into gate 86 after a flight from Philidelphia I think
3) Close up of my 757 to West Palm
4,5 and 6) Sunset descent into West Palm Beach, FL.
More to come

Looks like you got out just in time. I didn’t realise the destruction in Haiti had been quite so severe! 😮 😮

The 757 is one of my favourite a/c but I wouldn’t fly on one long-haul. Twin-aisle a/c are so much better for those times when you want to walk around and a stewardess is blocking one of the aisles with those carts. I’ve flown Continental(great a/l) on their B767/777s and they all have PTV entertainment. Why don’t they offer this on the 757s?
well, on twin aisle aircraft the Flight attendants use both aisles for the service, so I can see how twin aisles have an advantage in this case.
The seats in a wide body are just the same as those on a narrow body.
Who cares how many aisles it has, as long as you get their safely and with relative comfort.
PTVs are a good question though. For the service CO offer in economy class, the overheard screens are fine. No need to add extra weight for personal screens if you all watch the same thing anyway.
Personal PTVs are only good for interactive services. Video on demand, games etc.

Thanx all 🙂
No I didn’t get a photo of the 737 in my livery. Various reasons, one being I was not at the airport during daylight hours save for my departure.
My next trip is THIS sunday 😮 I’m off to Zante for a little R+R 🙂
Lucky git going to Zante 😀 Get ready for the airport, especially on a Sunday!

Great montage there Sandy, It looks a tad overcast in some of those beach shots
At the time I took the photos the wind was whipping up some cloud, they were moving pretty fast though.
Trust me, despite the cloud it was very hot and humid 😎

Excellent selection of shots there, especially like the 1900D shots. But didn’t you go to see your new livery etc? Got any shots to show us of that?

Fantastic photos, dont worry your not the only one that does things with the forum in mind when away, I think about my trip report and photos when I’m away! How sad is that…

Great pictures! Thanks for the 1900D pictures, they sure bring back memories. My last flight on 550 was 8/20/01. I had only 10 more days on the 1900D after that flight.
And you answer your question, Yes that is the southern end of Manhattan in your picture on approach to EWR.

Fantastic Pics there Sandy!
Those CO and EWR pics remind me of my holiday with CO but i saw two BA 772s lol.
I’m at college answering this, they have broadband so allow me to load all these great pics! 🙂
There was a second BA 777 to the right of G-VIIW, but a continental 767-400 tail was in the way so I couldn;t take a pic of it 🙂
Thanks for the comments 🙂
