Bangalore Air Show

Hi all,
I just returned from the 5 day Banglore Air Show and it was great. In civil aviation there was the ATR 72, Boeing 767, B747 and all. There was no airbus aicraft i failed to understand why. RAF were a big hit there and the Panvia Tornado’s were the biggest attractian followed by the Su 30(specially its cobra menuver) and Suryakirans(India’s aerobatic team). The Suryakirans operate 14 HAL(Hindustan Aeronotics Limited) Kira AJT’s. There was also this executive jet Falcon Mystere 900 and that was really super. I saw the C-130 Hercules for the first time from inside and it was really good. Ofcource all the Il-76 and other russian aircrafts were there. India is also planning to build its very own 100 seater aircraft in partnership with Ilyushin. The LCA was also there but out of 5 days of the air show it only flew once.
