Five aircraft of the Biman Bangladesh Airlines were damaged, three of them badly, at Zia International Airport when a storm with winds of up to 111 km/hour hit the area. As a result almost a 3rd of the airline’s fleet of 17 aircraft is now grounded including 3 Airbuses A310s a Boeing 737 and a Fokker 28.

I’m sure the insurance company will sort it. Must be an unpleasant excess to pay though!
It’s just a good job no poor sod was trying to land n that wind.

Sad news indeed…..Its always good to see the Biman aircraft at LHR. I have always liked the livery. I guess that there was loss of life in both places-not good.
