Banjul routes from the UK

Morning all,

Does anyone know if Astraeus are continuing to operate Banjul this year from East Midlands Airport? Not sure who chartered the series in the first place, butI can’t find anything about it on the NEMA website.

Also, I’m trying to find out about any plans to operate Banjul from BHX too? Its interesting how your only main options at the moment are MAN or LGW.

Cheers! 🙂

Thanks happy.

Would that be a TCX flight from EMA or BHX?

This winter AEU have operated three flights a week to BJL.

MAN-BJL-MAN for MyTravel
MAN-BRS-BJL-BRS-MAN for Gambia Experience
EMA-BRS-BJL-BRS-EMA for Gambia Experience

All flights are operated by B737-700s

The Gambia is mainly a winter sun destination. However, we will be operating scheduled flights from Gatwick to Banjul this summer using our 2 class 757s

Astraeus (chartered by Gambia Experience) also operate from BRS, and have done for some time now, with an increased programme this year.

I believe the flights originate in MAN or EMA.

Gambia Experience chartered the flight for this winter, but during summer flights are only available from Gatwick with MON I believe. AFAIK they are continuing for next winter as well as a TCX flight.

Thanks happy.
