Bank charges

Ever been sent a letter by your bank telling you had gone £2 overdrawn and been charged £25 for the letter ? Most of us have at some time.

There is food for thought on this webpage as to the legality of such charges

I always get them, in fact i get them so often i am about to leave my bank. As i am under 18 I shouldnt be allowed an overdraft, but the bank likes letting me have it so they can charge me extra. All that happens is I loose my rag because I say “look im under 18 so you are breaking the law” and the let me off. DONT BANK WITH NAT WEST, they are shockingly bad.

Oh, god, I hate my bank for that stuff…or a charge shows up a week later that sets me back where I have thought I had a positive balance for a week-it’s the computer age, folks, why does a transaction still take a week?!! I love when I have a .58 cent charge on my debit card and if it is a transaction that takes me into the red, they charge me $30 in overdraft charges and then if I don’t have the money in the account they charge me $7 every day that I don’t put it in there!

My bank, by the way, is US Bank, just so you guys know…
