It has been mentioned that, in the past, a book should be written chronicling “The Barnstormers Flying Circus” but has sadly never materialised.
I am in the (very) early stages of collating material and information with a view to redress this and cover the whole history and the whole experience that was the team; from those on the ground doing all the preparation and running that side of it to the flying side and I wish to, and want to, do it all justice and capture the whole story.
If you have any stories, experiences, etc. you would like to share in order to help me in this, if you know any of those involved or were involved could you please get in touch (PM me or e-mail) so that I can build this project with a determined aim to publish and fully document the achievements and experiences that were “The Barnstormers Flying Circus”.
Thank you.

((Michael,
I occasionally flew the Pitts S2A from Southampton in the late 1980’s but cannot recall any problems or, indeed, Barry Eustance.
The name of the person you were seeking was Jack Morton who died some years ago. He was one of the leading R/C scale modellers in the UK for many years and worked on the Battle of Britain film in the late 1960’s building and flying the JU87 Stuka’s for the dive bombing scenes.
I used to fly a formation routine from time to time in our displays with Jack flying a 30% Tiger Moth model and me in a full size version. We flew a racetrack pattern and included some aerobatics. Quite interesting occasionally while flying close formation on an unmanned model. Jack also flew the Barnstormers aircraft on ferry flights as he held a PPL.
I do hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Barry))
I include this PM from eight years ago which I had on another forum which gives Jack Morton as a ferry pilot for the Barnstormers and also a secret boyfriend of my ex-mother-in-law. As stated, he was an experienced model maker for the B of B film.
