Barracuda specs mismatch (DCN vs. MN)

So I was doing a little research on the preliminary specifications for the Barracuda
class, and I notice that its dimensions quoted in DCN’s site are quite
different from those presented in the Marine Nationale site:

DCN:
SUBMERGED displacement 4600 tons
length 85 m

MN:
SURFACE displacement 4500 tons
length 95 m

If DCN’s figures are correct this boat will be smaller than a Swiftsure… but, if
the Marine’s site is the one that got it right, with such a surface displacement
it will be about the size of a Trafalgar…
And then there is this 10 m growth in length…

Has anyone got an idea about whose numbers are closer to the true specifications?

Same here, DCN would know what they are doing.

Not sure Kilngsor, but I would have my money on the builder. 🙂
