Baths are for geriatrics and the disabled..who fancies lying in a bath of their own dirty water..I personally can’t start the day without a hot shower first thing in the morning

Well, judging from the amount of time we spend here I’d say we all need a PC in our bathrooms…

…just think how clean we’d all be! 😀

😀 😀 😀

I remember when all I had was 2 baths a week and no showers 🙂

Bath allows skin to soften more and is better for hard skin areas e.g. feet. The “sitting in your own stuff” is a convenient excuse for the can’t be bothered/haven’t got time types. Try having one, you’ll feel better for it.

Anyone else ever feel the need to have a shower before getting out of the bath?

Plus you can not do your hair well in a bath

.. why would you want to sit in a tepid pool of your own filth.

The interesting thing I read somewhere is that if you take a skin bacteria count after bathing or showering you will find that the bath actually gets you cleaner.

I have no idea why this should be so, nor can I produce the evidence, so I could be talking total bollox.

…and beer:D You rarely see beer involved with normal anglo-american showers…

The only bit i hate is the beating yourself, the social side is great, we use it for team building, sorts out the men from the boys.

Shower

Shower all the way unless you want to soak aching muscles or something
as Seinfields Kramer said noon takes baths anymore, why would you want to sit in a tepid pool of your own filth.

baths and showers are for girls and girl-minded

Real mens uses Sauna (and by this meaning a true finnish sauna, not some turkish baths or swedish replicas), smoke-sauna preferably by using vihta (bunch of fress birchbranch tied together and you hit yourself with it in order to make the dirt fall out).

Too bad the cristhianity have made rest of the europeans too sissys and they have forsaken all the good stuff from heaten customs:dev2: :dev2:

Oh yes they are fantastic, what a lovely experience enjoyed with makkara.

A shower for getting clean quickly but a nice hot bath just for relaxing in.
