Ah yes, I remember the Navy schemed Harvard now but didn’t realise it was one and the same. I take it you refer to the awful mid-air collision in 1990 when John Greenstreet sadly lost his life. Tragic.

Dave,
Harvard 66 ZK-ENE is now painted in a USN colour scheme and based at Wanaka. The aircraft was repainted and refubished after a accident at Ardmore in 1990/1 ?

The codes are not authentic as far as I know.Look good any way!
Thanks OFMC Fan. I agree, they look smashing.
Is the Harvard that was paited in Green and NZ Blue camouflage (I think it was ZK-ENE) still flying with the Warbirds? It was one of the few planes left wearing that interesting homegrown wartime scheme.

Lovely air-to-airs amitch – nice to see the T-6 / Havard from the air. A real purposeful, no-nonsense looking cab.

WOW ME TOO
Very nice indeed Alex 🙂 , From a half Kiwi :p , Cheers 😀 , Tally Ho! Phil :diablo: . (p.s. No.57 look’s a little like the T-6, That I helped restore at Essendon airport as a teen, 23 years ago, Sh*t I am getting old :p )

Wow, simply stunning. Well done Alex.
I too love the shot over the docks.
ZK-WAR (the flagship) still looks great. I’ve always wondered, does anyone know if that scheme of W-AR is an authentic wartime RNZAF scheme (I know the camouflage is, but I wonder about the codes). I have always assumed it is simply a made-up scheme as it was the first New Zealand Warbirds aircraft.

Well done Alex.Managed to get a quick peek at the pictures as you down loaded them to the computer at Ardmore. Nice to get the P-40 and P-51 in the background in one of the shots..
