Battle of Malta Spitfire pilot at George Cross 75th ceremony.

I visit Malta a lot and have massive respect both for the bravery of the Maltese people and the valour of the the RAF in WW2. I’ve also been up the runway of Hal Far a few times,not in a Spitfire unfortunately,but something a bit faster (over a quarter mile).

Thanks for the link John, Sqn Ldr Scott seems to be doing very well for his 96 years! It’s great to see such monumental events being commemorated and remembered, especially through someone who lived through the experience.
