The Grace Spitfire was flying over an opening ceremony at Fambridge 12.15 Friday, so the news item was about that most probably. Instead of just seeing a few passes, we were spolit with about 15 mins of her flying over the new memorial and it was quite a display.

The airfield there was only open for a short time in 1909 – 7 months. The other Fambridge airfield I beleive was a WW2 base and is also in the vicinity, just across the river.

Or maybe the Grace Spitfire.

To me it looked blue but it was a very short clip.
