just had a fabulous afternoon at Coningsby. Rather suprised to see a brightly marked tornado taxi past the hangar – looked like a Cross Lorainne on the tail.

and much to my annoyance i found i had left the camera at home.

the Spitfire 21 is being transferred to BBMF ownership, what happens after that isnt certain although the guide said the boss has said he would love to get it flying.

Dak looks great in its new colours.

Pleased that Lf363 seems to be still with the flight and that the rumours a few years ago have come to nothing. She has had smoke marks painted under the gun positions, along with P7350 which will look striking from the ground.

the spitfire 16 looks fantastic. Is the other dismantled 16 off site? I heard it is Raymond Baxters former a/c – not the 602 example surely?
