One assumes that the Bomber will have another poppy symbol added to her nose art now?

Lovely!

Glad to see the Lanc with it’s two top hatches in place, too; I know it gets some air in and keeps the crew a bit cooler to have them out, but the trend to remove them in recent years is really annoying looking!

The lighting in no. 6 on P7350 makes it look like a collage – I guess the sun was dead behind the camera in this photo. Some people might claim it’s a Photoshop paste-up. although I am not doubting its authenticity, just musing on the strange effect.

Papa Lima. I know what you mean, i just put it though auto levels in PS. It looks even more like a collage without it. thanks for the comments i’ll pass them on.

Altogether a great set of pix and I’ll join the queue for acting as ballast!
We’ll see how I get on as a passenger in the Canadian Lanc, only 3 weeks to go! I doubt if it’ll be accompanied by Spits and Hurris though!

Never realised Hurricane tailwheels hungdown so low!
Nice – if you ever need someone to act as deadweight with a camera…;)
