The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight held their start of season meet and greet at Duxford on the Saturday before the Spring Air Show. This was the opportunity for the public to get up close and personal to the aircraft, pilots and ground crew. Unfortunately the Lancaster couldn’t land as the wind was across the runway and not down it and after a display in the afternoon it headed back home to RAF Coningsby.

Beautiful photos- that overhead rear shot of the silver Spit must surely be a candidate for future BBMF use?
It would have looked a lot better if the sun had been out. 😀

Beautiful photographs! That nigh on made my day. P7350 looks gorgeous! Hold on, they all do. We don’t know how lucky we are to have such a fantastic historic flight like this.
