BBMF C-47 Dakota picture request

Does anyone have a picture of the BBMF Dakota (in its current 267 ‘Pegasus’ Sqn markings) that shows the topside of the wing(s)

http://homepages.force9.net/ffour/airshow03/elvington/07dakota.jpg

I have searched everwhere and everyway I know how but have come up with nothing showing the true topside camo of the wings. I had thought it would be identical to its original 267sqn counterparts, but whilst this is the case on the fuselage it is strangely not so on the wings ( see http://www.airliners.net/open.file/468583/L/ )

Any help would be greatly apprecaite, thanks for your time guys.

probably not as you are in the USA although it (N47FK) did feature in the D-day anniversary events in Normandy last weekend.

paulc,
I don’t live in the U.K. I live in the States. Are you certain you’re talking about the same Gooney Bird as I am?

Just had a look back through my photos and found these two for you, not sure how much use they’ll be….

PhantomII

the C47 with the invasion strips is N47FK – it only looked so good because a team of volunteers (myself included) had repainted her over 2 weekends prior to the events.
Hopefully a small gesture of appreciation to those whose debt we will always be in.

That particular C47 also appeared in the Ch4 programme “10 Days till D-Day” shown
on 31/5 & 1/6 – I know because I was at the filming (Cottesmore airfield) ahem!

Ahh the good old Gooney Bird.

Saw a pristine looking C-47 just the other day at an air show, and it took part in the flying display complete with invasion stripes and everything.

What a beautiful airplane, and truly one of the greatest weapons (and aircraft) of all time.
