thank you very much , makes alot of sense now , ive been delvin into hatfields past aviation history and didnt even relise its were the first pasenger jet was built ,
theres two hotels there now one still has the old red comet outside the other model is inside the galaria , i have noteced that they have built a school and named it de havalands and a social club to
miss haveing british airospace there and the sound of jets being tested .

ANYONE KNOW WHY THE BBMF DACOTA WAS FLYING IN HATFIELD TODAY!!! ill get the pic i managed to get last min ….reson i asked is last month the blades done a privet disply at same area just wonderd if it were doing the same .it went aound about 4 times then went back off to the north ???

It was for the re-dedication service for the RLI Trooper Statue and was over flying the Ramada Hotel or “Comet” Hotel if you prefer. I would appreciate any pic’s as I was stuck inside!

yeh i knew this was happening but hatfield is in hertfordshire and its was on its own to shame i havent seen the full flock before would have been a nice treat as i only just got my new 100 400 L Lens .
