How long was the Hurri at ARC having the ‘major’ – anyone know?
She was delivered to duxford in october last year with a expected return to BBMF at mid march but the weather has had its say. military limits for the airtest have not been available to all concerned.

Cool photo’s, looking foward to seeing the BBMF out and about as I only saw them once in 2004.
Here’s hoping they have a safe season after all the problem’s they had in 2004.

Marshalls call it “Depot Level Maintenance” (well according to Google they do anyway) when they get an RAF aircraft in (such as Herk).. So was this Depot Level Maintenance??

So this Hurricane was “fixed away from Station”
what Category does it make this incident on the record card?
Paul,
I believe it was a “major service” not a fix (it was LF363 that had the mis-hap). From what I understand, its cheaper to out-source the majors, rather than doing them in-house.
