The other week went to conningsby on the friday before waddo airshow and the bbmf place is amazing the guys had a problem with no3 engine the panels were off and the guys were trying to sort it.
I was told by staff they had changed the engine the other night but the vibration was still there, was it the prop? anybody know what the problem was?
It was flying that evening about 7pm i could see it from the pub!
And did waddo ok.

They eventually changed the propeller and that cured it.
I don`t know what causes Hydromatic props to go out of balance though.Pete

Could be anything from a bird-strike to a light tap with a piece of ground equipment, or even a vehicle.:D
